Commercial is a derivation of hip hop dance with some elements from other styles such as jazz. Unlike old school hip hop, this style was not born on the streets but in commercial dance studios. This is the kind of “hip hop” you see in many modern music videos and concerts.

The style of Salsa which is known as LA is well-known for its flashy moves and danced in a linear “cross body” fashion. This partnered dance is VERY social, so get ready to meet and dance with a variety of people from all over the world.
The beginner’s class will introduce the basics to you along with some fun moves. After just one class you’ll be able to get on the dance floor enjoying the music and interacting with the dance community at our Latin socials. If you are thinking about a stiff couple dancing with roses in their mouths, this is not Tango Argentino! This dance is about being able to improvise together, interpreting the music with elegance, being aware of your body and your partner.
Anybody can dance Tango, whatever their dance skills: if you´ve never danced anything before, Tango Argentino is a great way to start, as it does not require any physical talent; if you´re a dancer, Tango will enhance your improvisation skills; if you´re a couple dancer, it will improve your communication skills dramatically. Tap dance encompasses a variety of styles and is a great way to keep fit and improve balance and co-ordination. It makes you feel you are creating music, or adding to the song you are dancing to.
The class is intermediate so some experience is preferred. However if you’re enthusiastic then come along and try it out. Tap is better with tap shoes but don’t worry if you don’t have just wear some shoes eg trainers, character shoes to avoid injury!

Voguing evolved into a dance style in New York, where dancers battled with poses that were copied from the fashion magazine Vogue. Voguing still involves poses and typically Voguing involves geometric arm movements and is elegant and feminine.
Classes focus mainly on Vogue Fem which a feminine Voguing style where it is softer and smoother than in other Voguing styles. Key techniques (posing, arm movements, runway walks) are covered in the classes. Traditionally, Voguing is freestyled in dance battles and the classes also explore Voguing freestyle techniques in addition to Voguing choreographies.FB Group
